Job Description: Tax Winter 2026 Internship – Sunrise, FL

This is an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Winter 2026 Intern in CohnReznick’s Sunrise, FL office.

Job Title & Type: Tax Winter 2026 Internship.
Location: Sunrise, FL.
Duration: From January to April 2026 (end date varies by office/team).
Work Model: This is a hybrid position, meaning team members are expected to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week, with the specific cadence determined at the team level.

Engagement Team: Interns will work closely with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners.
Industries: The firm serves a diverse range of clients across various sectors including Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (varies by office).
Office Amenities: The Sunrise office provides amenities, collaborative spaces, and private offices.
Performance Coach: Interns will be assigned a Performance Coach to help establish goals, provide feedback, and support career development.
CR Friend: A designated “CR Friend” will act as a familiar face and a point of contact for support upon joining the firm.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
• The primary responsibility is to become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform them accurately, thoroughly, and timely according to firm standards.
Important Note: Despite being titled a “Tax” internship, the listed responsibilities are largely audit-focused:
• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making client inquiries, while assisting the team with daily client workflow.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
CPA Track: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 and September 2027 to be eligible for CPA licensure.
Academic Performance: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both major and overall coursework.
Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the internship start.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
Prior Experience: Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Work Authorization: Must provide proof of work authorization, such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status.
