Internship Program | HUB International
The Tone:
This is a full-time, paid, 10-week internship at HUB International, located in San Diego, CA, running from June to August 2026. HUB is more than an insurance broker; it’s a network of individuals with diverse stories who support clients and communities. This role offers the opportunity to launch a career in the fast-growing insurance brokerage industry, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to various career paths while making valuable contributions.

• Team: Collaborate with Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, or Retirement & Private Wealth teams.
• Mission: To gain hands-on experience and exposure to diverse career opportunities within the insurance brokerage industry, learning from experts.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with sales and service teams to understand unique regional client and community needs across the United States.
• Policy Administration: Gain hands-on experience in managing policies, endorsements, renewals, data management, and assisting in claims processing.
• Market Research: Support analysis of United States insurance markets and regional trends.
• Technical Training: Participate in workshops and training sessions to strengthen your skills and industry knowledge.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a college program, with a Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Skills: A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about the insurance industry; excellent verbal & written communication skills; strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and handling multiple tasks; a collaborative team player with a desire to help others; independent and self-motivated, capable of autonomous work.
