Job Description:
• Job Title: Tax Winter 2026 Internship
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
• Employment Type: Internship
• Duration/Timeline: January to April 2026
Team and Environment:
As a Tax Winter Intern, you will be part of an engagement team that includes other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. The firm serves a variety of clients across diverse industries such as Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (client industries may vary by office). The Atlanta office offers various amenities and collaborative spaces. Interns will receive support from a Performance Coach who helps establish goals, provides feedback, and guides career paths, and a “CR Friend” who serves as a familiar face and point of contact.
Role and Responsibilities:
The Tax Winter Intern will be responsible for familiarizing themselves with current tax theories and laws and performing procedures according to firm standards accurately, thoroughly, and timely. Key responsibilities include:
• Working on a variety of client deliverables, including the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Identifying potential tax issues.
• Preparing tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client-provided trial balances.
• Assisting the team with daily client workflow.
Required Experience and Qualifications:

• A strong desire for a work environment that values camaraderie, collaboration, and community involvement.
• Current Enrollment: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA Track: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between May 2026 – September 2027 to be eligible for CPA licensing.
• Academic Standing: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall coursework.
• Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
• Leadership: Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Prior Experience (Plus): Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
