What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Document Preparation: Meticulously prepare W2 forms for various business clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of 1099 forms for business clients, contributing to their year-end financial reporting requirements.
• Individual Tax Return Filing: Take part in the preparation of Form 1040 returns for individuals, gaining direct experience with personal income tax processes.
• Project Participation: Actively participate in a variety of other essential projects and administrative tasks critical to the overall success and smooth operation of the busy tax season.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, having completed or working towards sophomore, junior, or senior year coursework, with an aim to complete 150 credit hours. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates ready to launch their careers in public accounting.
• Experience: Available to commit to the full duration of the internship from January 5th through April 15th, 2027. Candidates must also be able to maintain a consistent schedule, working a minimum of 20 hours per week, with at least 4 hours scheduled per day during the internship period.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities, crucial for internal collaboration and client interactions. Possess a strong, self-driven motivation and clear aspiration to build a successful long-term career within the demanding yet rewarding field of public accounting.
