Audit Fall Internship 202 | Withum

The Tone:
This is a fall internship at Withum, located in various in-person office locations, running from September through October. The TL;DR

• Type: Seasonal (September-October), Part-time to Full-time
• Location: In-person at various office locations
• Pay: $25–$38 hourly
• Team: Part of the auditing team, supporting a dedicated group of professionals
• Mission: To assist the auditing team with financial reviews, data analysis, and compliance checks, gaining hands-on public accounting experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements.
• Evaluate: Evaluate internal control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with auditing standards through inquiry, observation, and review.
• Prepare: Assist in preparing detailed workpapers supporting audit procedures.
• Perform: Perform substantive testing and analytical review procedures.
• Support: Assist with client engagements and other assigned projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior or Senior Accounting Major or Business related, OR MBA Candidate in an Accounting track program.
• Experience: Must be able to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week. Ability to commute to one of Withum’s office locations.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Bonus: Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
