Accounting Methods and Periods Tax Intern – Summer 2027 | RSM US LLP

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a team specializing in diverse tax areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, federal credits and incentives, and private client services.
• Tax Planning and Research: Execute tax planning initiatives and conduct thorough tax research for various client needs.
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare accurate federal and state & local tax returns.
• Regulatory Understanding: Develop and apply an understanding of current tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Working towards a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Accounting from an accredited university, with 90 credit hours completed.
• Experience: Entry-level role requiring reliable transportation and the ability to travel to assigned client locations.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively on a team; capacity to multitask efficiently.
• Bonus: A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
