Winter 2027 – Tax Intern (Duluth) | Armanino

• Mission: This person will gain hands-on experience in public accounting by preparing various tax returns and developing tax planning and software skills.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Draft corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns, including estimates, vouchers, extensions, and projections.
• Research: Stay updated on tax regulations and develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels.
• Support: Work as an individual contributor and team member on varying client engagements across multiple industries.
• Collaborate: Engage regularly with professional teams on client projects through meetings, chat, and email.
• Develop: Acquire proficiency in accounting software through courses, self-guided learning, and on-the-job training.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Experience: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Skills: Tax return preparation (Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Individual); Federal and state tax regulation research and planning; Accounting software proficiency; Effective team collaboration and communication.
• Bonus: Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028.
