• Mission: To utilize educational knowledge and experience to perform accounting and tax responsibilities, supporting client engagements and firm associates.
• Tech Stack: Tax and accounting software applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Communication: Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive, and professional manner, working closely with clients to gather necessary information required for various documents and filings.
• Data Analysis Support: Utilize data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns, providing valuable support in making informed recommendations for clients.
• Process Efficiency: Proactively identify and propose improvement opportunities within existing processes to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Tax Return Preparation: Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections in strict accordance with both firm and professional standards, under the direct guidance of engagement leaders.
• Tax Research: Conduct thorough research on complex tax-related issues and other related financial reports to ensure compliance and provide accurate insights.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, with required completion of a corporate or individual taxation class. Candidates should be actively working towards eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Experience: Demonstrate above-average knowledge in accounting principles, preferably with an academic record reflecting a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Skills: Possess the ability to think independently and make sound decisions, applying learned education and practical experience. Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff. Capable of prioritizing workload, diligently follow through on requests, take initiative, and consistently meet established deadlines.
• Bonus: Preferred coursework includes subjects in Data Analytics or Big Data, enhancing analytical capabilities for the role.
