• Pay: $25–$38 hourly
• Mission: Support the tax department in preparing and reviewing tax documents, conducting research, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support the tax department by preparing and reviewing various tax documents for corporate and individual clients.
• Conduct thorough research to stay current with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local tax laws and guidelines.
• Gain practical, hands-on experience in the preparation of corporate and individual taxes.
• Utilize various tax software platforms, developing proficiency in industry-standard tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for Junior or Senior Accounting Majors, or those in a Business-related field, including MBA Candidates pursuing an Accounting track.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required, as this internship is designed to provide foundational experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Skills:
• Possess excellent interpersonal and computer skills.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20-40 hours per week.
• Capable of commuting to one of Withum’s office locations.
• Bonus:
• A preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
