What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare tax returns and tax extensions.
• Organize: Organize tax information to support tax processes.
• Assist: Assist with tax notices and examinations as needed.
• Maintain: Maintain working knowledge of the tax preparation software utilized in the office.
• Perform: Perform various administrative tasks to support the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be an undergraduate student, specifically in their junior year or the year prior to their intended graduation, depending on whether they are enrolled in a 4-year or 5-year academic program. Successful completion of at least one tax-related class is a prerequisite for this role.
• Experience: Requires the flexibility to commit to a minimum of 25 hours of work each week. Must also have the flexibility to work weekends as needed to support busy season demands. Candidates should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Skills: Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be detail oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Participation in the VITA Program is a preferred qualification.
