Description:

This internship opportunity is for highly motivated individuals looking to join Deloitte’s tax consulting team. The internship will offer hands-on experience in the day-to-day responsibilities of a tax consultant, providing exposure to complex tax issues and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the tax effects of complex decisions for diverse clients.
• Help clients reduce overall tax rates and pursue performance objectives.
• Research and resolve complex tax technical issues.
• Assist clients with tax due diligence, tax structuring, and tax modeling on buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Interact with multiple clients, gaining exposure to various organizations and their tax implications.

Currently pursuings:

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science/Business Administration in Accounting, Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation, or Juris Doctor (JD).
• Definitive plans for meeting minimum educational requirements for Bar exam or CPA eligibility in the state of the assigned office location.
• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0).
• Ability to travel up to 50% based on work requirements and clients.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work model requiring US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
• Start date: Summer 2025.
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years at the time of employment.
• Technology-related coursework is highly desirable.
• Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.2 or higher).
• Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).

Compensation:

The wage range for this role is estimated to be $27 to $50, taking into account factors such as experience, skills, and location.
