What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Prepare various individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Perform: Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Support: Support multiple client engagements, ensuring timely completion within budget and communicating progress.
• Expand: Expand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Complete: Complete necessary research and special projects as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree is a fundamental requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a general understanding of core accounting principles and the reporting of financial data, and be eligible to sit for the CPA exam as dictated by state requirements.
