The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare supporting digital work papers for various tax returns and assist in the review of tax preparation completed by colleagues.
• Tax Consulting & Planning: Conduct tax research and tax planning duties, applying expertise to diverse entities such as corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.
• Issue Resolution & Reporting: Identify, research, and assess technical tax issues, provide information to senior staff, and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities.
• Client Relationship Building: Collaboratively work with client team members to build rapport and foster strong, lasting client relationships.
• Staff Development: Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior staff members, contributing to their professional growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Juris Doctorate, or Tax LLM, suitable for an early career position.
• Experience: Completion of necessary education hours to be eligible for CPA licensure or licensed attorney status.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills; strong technical aptitude and skillset; demonstrated project management skillset including planning and time management; ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
• Bonus: Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed, and travel to various client sites, sometimes on short notice; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
