• Team: Member of the tax department’s Entity Taxation group, reporting to seniors and managers.
• Mission: To provide a range of tax services, including compliance, strategic planning, and advisory, for supported dental offices.
• Tech Stack: Corptax, CCH Axcess, Microsoft Office applications, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Tax Returns: Prepare and file individual, partnership, s-corporation, and c-corporation tax returns using Corptax and CCH Axcess.
• Data Management: Prepare workpapers and maintain business entity tax data records and accounting systems.
• Tax Inquiries: Prepare responses to federal and state tax inquiries.
• Issue Resolution: Identify accounting and income tax issues and propose strategies to resolve them.
• Communication & Research: Communicate status of work and issues with seniors and managers on a timely basis and conduct technical tax research as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, suitable for an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: CPA eligibility before start date is required, along with current authorization to work full-time in the United States.
• Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), and a strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems. This role also requires a strong sense of personal responsibility for assigned tasks and the ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Bonus: Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam and individual tax return preparation experience are preferred.
