Talent Acquisition Specialist – Operations Recruiter | Crystal Clean
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Crystal Clean, located in an office environment. Crystal Clean is a 1,393-person organization focused on environmental services. This role is crucial for managing the entire hiring process within their Applicant Tracking System, ensuring compliance with EEOC and OFCCP guidelines, and maintaining accurate record-keeping. The specialist will provide full-cycle recruitment for both exempt and non-exempt operations positions, directly impacting the company’s ability to attract and secure top talent to support its services.

• Mission: To manage the full-cycle recruitment process for operations roles, ensuring compliance, attracting qualified candidates, and maintaining hiring efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Partnership & Planning: Conduct intake meetings with Hiring Managers to develop position profiles, understand needs, and maintain regular communication throughout the hiring process.
• Compliance & Compensation: Ensure each position meets company compensation guidelines, adheres to all applicable Federal and state laws, and determines appropriate sourcing strategies.
• Recruitment & Sourcing: Create comprehensive job descriptions based on manager and company specifications, utilize company-approved recruitment sources, and proactively build strong applicant pools.
• Candidate Selection: Review all applicants, select candidates for interviews based on pre-employment requirements and qualifications, and perform phone interviews and reference checks.
• Process Improvement & Tracking: Keep accurate records of recruiting sources and applicant logs, solicit feedback to improve the hiring process, and meet defined performance metrics.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced specialist with a High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of full cycle/high volume recruitment experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of full cycle/high volume recruitment experience, along with experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and external job boards.
• Skills: Exceptional oral (phone), written, and interpersonal communication skills; a broad knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law; and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field; knowledge of rules and regulations surrounding Affirmative Action programs as outlined by the OFCCP; and previous experience with HRIS, with ADP experience being a plus.
