Systems Marketing Engineering Intern Role

As a Systems Marketing Engineering Intern at TI, you’ll play a crucial role in understanding the technical needs of TI’s customers and predicting future industry trends. You’ll be responsible for developing innovative system-level solutions using TI’s broad portfolio of components. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn and contribute in various areas, including:

Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers to identify their most challenging problems and propose tailored solutions.
System-Level Design: Leverage TI’s diverse product offerings to create comprehensive solutions for customer products, accelerating their development cycle.
Hardware and Software Integration: Combine hardware and software capabilities to offer fully integrated TI solutions.
Reference Design Development: Design and develop reference designs, including block diagrams, schematics, PCB layouts, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Product Roadmap Influence: Interface directly with TI business units and customers to provide valuable input on product roadmaps.
User Requirements Gathering & Implementation: Translate customer requirements into functional specifications and implement solutions and enhancements for broader end equipment.
Documentation & Troubleshooting: Create complete documentation for system-level solutions and perform troubleshooting and debugging in collaboration with customers.

Additional Exposure: This internship will expose you to other roles within TI, such as Applications Engineering, Product Marketing Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Sales, broadening your knowledge and accelerating your professional growth.

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical Skills:
• Analysis of common electrical circuits
• Familiarity with schematic capture and simulation tools
• Ability to utilize data and calculations to select optimal components
• Ability to breakdown and analyze complex systems
