Leadership Development Program – Commercial Excellence | Synthomer

The Tone:
This is an early career accelerator program at Synthomer, a specialty chemicals manufacturer and a leading global supplier of water-based polymers. Synthomer polymers help customers innovate products and improve existing product performance in key industries like coatings, construction, adhesives, and medical gloves. This two-year program is designed for individuals with a technical foundation who are eager to drive change, enhance operational capabilities, and develop into future leaders within the organization.

The TL;DR

• Location: In-person, geographically mobile (U.S. and international travel required)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize: Improve CRM functionality and processes, impacting enablement, adoption, and effectiveness across the organization.
• Evaluate: Assess sales enablement technology for innovative solutions that align with the global business strategy.
• Support: Provide project management assistance across various markets, global regions, and internal teams.
• Enhance: Develop and build sales Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and metric capabilities for improved performance tracking.
• Craft: Create internal communications that support and promote Commercial Excellence initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Operational Excellence, Project Management, Business, or a related field from an accredited university. Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Experience: Minimum one internship or CO-OP providing practical experience in strategic marketing or market development. Permanent work authorization in the United States is required. Participants must be geographically mobile during the program, including ability to relocate within the U.S. based on assignment location and travel internationally.
• Skills: Highly motivated, results-oriented, possess strong strategic thinking, and leadership potential for strengthening operational capabilities.
• Bonus: MBA preferred. Two or more internships or CO-OPs preferred.
