Job Description: Supply Chain Undergraduate Internship – Technology Enablement & Automation
This 10-12 week summer internship offers a unique opportunity to work within the Technology Enablement & Automation group, where you’ll build analytical, financial, and statistical models to evaluate complex data. You’ll leverage your software development experience and understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts, particularly if you have experience engineering hardware or firmware.
Key Responsibilities:
• Model Building: Develop analytical, financial, and statistical models to evaluate complex data.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and use insights to solve real-world business problems.
• Software Development: Apply your programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JSON, AWS, SQL, CSS, Scripting, HTML, R, and SAS.
• Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex issues, perform in-depth evaluations of variable factors, and manage relationships with vendors and carriers.
Qualifications:
• Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program graduating by Spring 2026, majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems and Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Programming: Experience with modern programming languages (Java, Python, JSON, AWS, SQL, CSS, Scripting, HTML, R, SAS).
• Microsoft Suite: Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred; proficient in pivot tables, arrays, and nested-formulas), Microsoft PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Business Intelligence tools.
• Project Management: Ability to lead high-impact quality projects (Six Sigma, Lean, TL9000, etc.).
• Supply Chain & Data Analytics: Experience with Supply Chain and Data Analytics software is desirable.
• Workflow Automation: Preferred experience with workflow automation tools such as ServiceNow.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with vendors and carriers.
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation:
• Salary: $60,000 yearly
