Supply Chain Planner (Order Manager) | KellyMitchell Group
The Tone:
This is a contract role at KellyMitchell Group for a telecom client, located in Bellevue, WA or Herndon, VA. KellyMitchell is an employee-owned, women-led organization dedicated to solving IT staffing and project challenges for Fortune 500 companies nationwide. This role is critical to maintaining essential order management operations in their legacy SAP system while full-time staff focus on a major migration to Oracle. The Supply Chain Planner ensures orders and shipments continue to flow smoothly, directly impacting dealer satisfaction and business continuity during a transitional period.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Resolution: Monitor the order management inbox (OMCS) to unblock stuck orders and resolve issues.
• Inquiry Management: Respond to and resolve questions from dealers and internal teams via email.
• Order Processing: Receive, enter, and validate customer orders, reserving inventory and determining delivery dates.
• Report Generation: Create, analyze, and monitor open order reports for system integrity, SLA, EDI, and IDOCs.
• Backorder Coordination: Partner with Channel Managers, Logistics, and Allocation Planning to clear backorders and release orders to the DC.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of supply chain flow and order management operations.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in supply chain, specifically with order management experience and proficiency in SAP (ECC/fulfillment preferred).
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, formulas, filters, vlookup), strong reporting and data analysis, and an ability to quickly learn and execute within existing systems.
• Bonus: Experience in device supply chain or telecom, familiarity with Oracle (in the context of migration), S&OP knowledge, EDI/IDOC exposure, or allocation and backorder management.
