This is a detailed description for a paid 12-week summer internship with the Century A/C Supply team, designed to shape the intern’s future in supply chain management. The program emphasizes gaining hands-on experience and engaging in meaningful work within a rewarding and supportive environment.

Interns will be exposed to a broad range of critical business functions, including operations, inventory, communications, sales, and ERP Systems, all within a warehouse setting. A key component of the internship is a culminating project, where interns will present a company project to the leadership and management teams at the program’s conclusion.

What You Will Learn:

• Warehouse Operations:
• Opportunity to obtain Forklift certification.
• Practical experience in shipping and receiving.
• Training in order pulling and product stocking.
• Skills in inventory management, bin adjustments, and cycle counts.
• Sales:
• Direct exposure to Counter Sales operations.
• The unique opportunity to participate in a ride-along with outside sales representatives.
• ERP System:
• Gain valuable knowledge and practical experience with a premier distribution software program.

Qualifications:

• Job Requirements:
• Ability to commit to the full 12-week internship, working 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work on rotating Saturdays as required.
• Responsibility to provide own housing and transportation.
• Physical Demands:
• Must be capable of lifting/maneuvering up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.
• The role involves continuous physical activity including walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and carrying.
• Work will be conducted in an unconditioned warehouse environment.
• Educational Requirements And/or Experience Required:
• Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management Program or Industrial Distribution program.
• No prior warehouse experience is necessary, making it an ideal opportunity for those new to the field.
