The Tone:
This is a full-time, leadership development role at Nestlé Purina, part of a rotational program requiring relocation across U.S. manufacturing sites, with initial placement in Bloomfield, Missouri, or Davenport, Iowa. Nestlé Purina manufactures a wide range of pet care products, driven by integrity and a strong purpose found in the people-and-pet bond. This program is designed to develop future leaders by fast-tracking them into management on the manufacturing side, offering continuous learning and growth through hands-on experience and fresh perspectives from diverse locations.

• Location: In-person, Bloomfield, Missouri or Davenport, Iowa (initial placement), with required relocation across 24 U.S. manufacturing sites.
• Pay: $73000 yearly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Undergo Training: Complete foundational training across warehouse, transportation, and customer service functions to understand end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Execute Projects: Lead and complete assigned department improvement projects, contributing to operational excellence within manufacturing.
• Gain Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the consumer-packaged goods and pet care industries, including consumer insights, Purina brands, competitive analysis, and segment trend identification.
• Manage Operations & Strategy: Experience internal and external supply chain operations, collaborating with departments like quality assurance, production, and R&D, while developing strategies to optimize inventory and enhance efficiency.
• Build Network: Foster internal and external working relationships across various disciplines, account management, and customer teams, expanding your professional network.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027. This is an entry-level leadership development role.
• Experience: Must be open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as part of the rotational program.
• Skills: Ability to learn and develop strategies for optimizing inventory levels and enhancing supply chain efficiency. Strong analytical skills for understanding material life cycles and industry trends.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience. Involvement in student organizations or other leadership experience.
