About the Lonza Portsmouth Site:

Our Lonza Portsmouth site is a state-of-the-art clinical-to-commercial, multi-product manufacturing facility situated in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, approximately 56 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. This facility employs over 1,500 dedicated individuals and specializes in the custom manufacturing of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies and recombinant proteins using mammalian cell culture.

The site offers convenient onsite amenities, including a cafeteria and a fitness center. The vibrant city of Portsmouth is home to numerous restaurants, breweries, museums, and theaters. Furthermore, the ocean and mountains are nearby, and major cities like Boston, Portland, and Manchester are easily accessible.

Job Description Summary: 2026 On-site Summer Internship Program

We are actively recruiting ambitious candidates to participate in our 2026 On-site Summer Internship program. This immersive program is approximately 12 weeks in length and is designed to integrate you into the dynamic culture and operations of Lonza Portsmouth.

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Scheduling, MRP Planning, Logistics, and Warehousing operations. This position offers invaluable hands-on experience in key areas such as:
• Demand planning.
• Utilizing SAP/ERP systems (supported by Michael Management training).
• Engaging in supply chain projects specifically focused on operational excellence.
• Assisting with customer coordination, production scheduling, and monitoring inventory KPIs.
• Gaining exposure to specialized tools like Access Orchestrate.
• Contributing to weekly SAP reporting and master data management.

Program Details & Commitment:

• The internship program commences in May and concludes in August.
• Potential interns must be able to commit to at least 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the summer internship.

Required Education:

• Completion of junior year (typically 90 credits) towards a B.S. degree in a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4) required.
• Must currently be enrolled in a BS or MS Academic Program.
