Job Description: Summer Structural Engineering Intern (Austin, TX)
WGI offers a paid summer internship program for college students pursuing a degree in a related field. This internship provides hands-on experience working on real-world projects for both private and public clients. The program bridges the gap between academic learning and professional practice, allowing interns to develop crucial workplace skills.
Responsibilities:
• Working on challenging projects requiring collaboration across various departments.
• Contributing to team projects and individual tasks.
• Punctuality, dependability, and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
• Potential for additional responsibilities based on experience.
Qualifications:
• Completion of at least three years of study at an accredited college in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation (a plus).
• Ability to adapt and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, and at project sites).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (sponsorship not available).
