The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time during summer (10–12 weeks), with potential for part-time continuation during the school year

• Pay: $22–$25 hourly
• Mission: This role addresses the need for future construction project management talent by offering hands-on exposure to the life cycle of curtainwall and facade construction, contributing to significant projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Immersion: Dive into the specialized world of curtainwall design, engage with various cross-functional teams, and explore the entire project lifecycle, understanding how a project progresses from initial concept to final completion.
• Software Training: Gain practical, hands-on training in essential project management software, including Procore, PlanGrid, Rhino, and Bluebeam, to develop real-world technical skills vital for the construction industry.
• Site Experience: Work directly on active construction jobsites, collaborate closely with fabrication shops, and learn the intricate coordination processes required for major curtainwall and facade projects.
• Professional Engagement: Participate in key project meetings, collaborate with industry experts, and observe firsthand the detailed process of how innovative facades are brought to life.
• Career Foundation: Develop a strong foundational understanding of construction project management principles and gain valuable insight into potential long-term career opportunities with Enclos, including the S.O.A.R. Project Management Training Program post-graduation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level internship for candidates currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, or another closely related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated passion for the construction industry and a clear interest in pursuing a career path within project management.
• Skills: Capability to work effectively within an active construction jobsite environment; a strong willingness to learn and apply project management tools; and a foundational understanding of construction from a related academic field.
• Bonus: Ability to read and interpret architectural/mechanical drawings.
