Job Description:
These are hands-on internships designed for students entering their junior or senior year of college in Summer 2025. Interns will participate in a variety of projects, gaining valuable real-world experience. Specific responsibilities include:
• 6S Initiatives: Contributing to workplace organization and safety improvements.
• Job Safety Analysis (JSA): Assisting in the assessment and improvement of safety protocols in manufacturing processes.
• Shop Layout: Supporting efforts to optimize shop floor layout for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
• Research & Development Projects: Working on innovative engineering projects with the potential for new product development. This offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.
• Process Improvement: Collaborating on initiatives to streamline manufacturing processes and improve product quality. This involves practical application of engineering principles to real-world scenarios.
The internship offers a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing and engineering processes, allowing interns to apply classroom learning to practical situations.
