Job Description: Summer Internship in Preclinical Biologics Research

This is a summer internship focusing on preclinical biologics drug development within a small, interdisciplinary team. The role involves conducting molecular biology and protein engineering experiments to advance preclinical drug candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and analyze data under the supervision of a scientist.
• Perform cloning and sequencing of expression vectors.
• Express and purify recombinant proteins.
• Characterize biomolecules using analytical methods and biological assays.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in biopharmaceutical R&D.
• Currently pursuing a doctoral or master’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, or a related field (strongly preferred).
• High-level understanding of molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Hands-on laboratory research experience (highly desired).
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with characterizing protein-protein interactions and/or Fc engineering (preferred, but not required).
