Hitachi Energy offers 12-week, full-time, paid summer internships across the United States for undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students. The internships prioritize learning and professional development. Interns are considered integral team members, tackling projects that benefit both the organization and their individual growth. The company encourages interns to challenge conventions and contribute significantly to solving current and future energy challenges. Interns may also participate in global team projects impacting international customers.

Hitachi Energy is currently seeking candidates with backgrounds in Data Analytics, Statistics, or Information Systems for summer internships beginning in May 2025. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, works well independently and within a team, possesses strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills, and is comfortable working in diverse cultural settings. Candidates must have existing work authorization allowing them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the specified fields is required.
