Job Description: Summer Internship – Targeted Acquisitions & Strategic Investments Team

The Targeted Acquisitions and Strategic Investments Team at Great American is seeking a full-time summer intern to assist in their M&A and investment activities. This hybrid position is based in the downtown Cincinnati office.

Responsibilities: The intern will be involved in various aspects of the team’s work, including:

M&A Target Sourcing and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities.
Financial Analysis and Valuation: Performing financial analysis and valuation of potential M&A targets and investments.
Investment Memo & Presentation Preparation: Assisting in creating investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Due Diligence Support: Gathering and analyzing data for due diligence processes.
Financial Modeling: Building and maintaining financial models to assess the impact of potential transactions.
Strategic Recommendation Development: Collaborating with team members to develop strategic recommendations for M&A and investment activities.
Post-Acquisition Monitoring: Monitoring and reporting on the performance of acquired companies and investments.
CRM System Updates: Updating the CRM system with relevant information regarding M&A and investment activities.
Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a less structured environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
