Job Description (Summer Intern, IT Department)

Job Title: Summer Intern, IT Department
Location: Fully on-site in Glen Allen, VA 23060 (no remote option)
Duration: 10-week paid summer internship (June-August)

Overview:
The IT Intern will engage directly with IT leadership to acquire practical, hands-on experience within the organization’s technology department. This internship offers a comprehensive introduction to various facets of IT support and operations.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Areas:

• Workstation Management: Assisting with workstation setups and device configurations.
• Technical Support: Providing troubleshooting support for various IT-related requests.
• Account Management: Managing user accounts across different systems.
• Emerging Technologies: Gaining exposure to cutting-edge cloud and DevOps tools and practices.

Education Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a current student pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, data engineering, data science, or any related field.
