The Tone:
This is an internship at Lumelight, located remotely across various U.S. states. Lumelight is a technology-enabled compliance and analytics company that assists employers and partners in confidently navigating complex regulatory environments. We achieve this by integrating deep domain expertise with modern data, analytics, and practical automation to deliver significant outcomes. This role is central to our mission as interns will work on live projects, applying AI and automation to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and drive tangible business results, directly contributing to how the organization operates. This is a hands-on opportunity to address real business challenges, not merely observe.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Improve Processes: Leverage AI and business knowledge with AI tools to identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements across workflows, applying AI-driven solutions to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effort.
• Analyze Data: Use AI and analytics platforms to analyze data, uncover actionable insights, and support faster, more informed decisions.
• Optimize Operations: Build or support practical solutions that optimize business processes and improve workflow execution.
• Structure Information: Gather, structure, and interpret data to improve reporting, consistency, and decision-making quality.
• Document Workflows: Develop clear documentation, process guides, and playbooks that standardize and improve how work gets done.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later, pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated fluency in business concepts and proficiency in applied AI, with hands-on experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, or similar platforms to support analysis, problem-solving, or process improvement.
• Skills: Ability to learn new tools quickly, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
• Bonus: Interest in technology-enabled business, data, and process improvement, and curiosity about how AI and automation can improve real-world work.
