Embark on a transformative 10-week journey with the WORLD Internship Program. Designed to cultivate a pipeline of exceptional talent, this program is your gateway to a rewarding career upon college graduation. As a Summer Intern, you will immerse yourself in the intricate world of the Insurance Industry, gaining a profound understanding of its various distribution models and the comprehensive insurance brokerage cycle. From the initial stages of identifying and expertly marketing risks to meticulously building service timelines, implementing client requests, and navigating complex renewals, you will experience the industry firsthand. For the duration of this enriching summer, you will be an integral part of our specialized Surety/Bonds department, making tangible contributions from day one.

Your Role and Impact: Primary Responsibilities

Working closely with our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of vital tasks, while also fostering robust client and teammate relationships. Your contributions will include:

• Efficiently processing the renewal of ID cards and various policy change requests.

• Managing carrier document attachments and issuing Certificates of Insurance.

• Gaining invaluable insights by shadowing client calls, accompanying Client Advisors, and participating in Carrier visits.

• Engaging in essential data management tasks, ensuring precision and accessibility.

• Taking on additional projects and responsibilities that will further your professional development.

Beyond these daily tasks, you will actively support the cultivation of positive relationships through exceptional advocacy, unparalleled service, and professional communication, making a direct impact on our clients’ satisfaction and our team’s cohesion.

Who We Are Looking For: Your Profile

We seek bright, ambitious individuals ready to make an impact:

• Currently enrolled in a business program at an accredited university or college, with a projected graduation date in May 2027 or December 2026. Students specializing in Insurance and Risk Management programs are particularly encouraged to apply.

• Available and willing to work on-site, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at our office location. Please note, we do not offer remote internships.

• Prior experience in customer support is preferred, demonstrating a foundational understanding of client interaction.

• Possessing strong organizational, administrative, and computing skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

• A self-motivated and driven individual who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Someone who demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

• Equipped with effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to problem-solve with minimal assistance.

• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing responsibilities, and exercising discretion with sensitive information.

• Consistently maintaining a professional demeanor and a positive attitude, even under pressure.
