ABOUT THE JOB: 2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Kestra Financial is offering a dynamic summer internship program for 2026, designed for students seeking real-world experience in a fast-paced, growing, and collaborative environment. This program provides an opportunity to make a tangible impact within the company.
Program Details:
• Duration: The internship program will run from the beginning of June through the end of July 2026.
• Location: Internships will be available at Kestra’s corporate office in Austin, TX, and in many of its member firms nationwide.
• Structure: Interns will be part of a cohort of smart, ambitious, and curious contributors. Based on their academic background and major, interns will be assigned to one of several specialized groups.
• Assigned Groups: Interns may be placed in the following areas:
• Client Service
• Compliance
• Operations
• Product/Data
• Finance
• Human Resources
• Marketing
• Legal
• Technology
• Investment Management
• Work Experience: Interns will work on key projects with specific goals and activities outlined by the leaders in their assigned groups.
• Learning Outcomes: Participants will gain a more profound knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, market insights and outlook, technology platforms, and how Kestra provides services and support to its firms.

Intern Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
To be considered for the internship, applicants should demonstrate the following:
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Preference for Undergraduate Juniors and Seniors.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency: Basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word functions.
• Highly motivated and driven individual.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with teams.
• Strong time-management capabilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving individual with the ability to understand and interpret numeric data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in working in a client-service-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge and/or a keen interest in finance and a strong desire to gain further understanding of the wealth management business.
Internal Applicant Policy:
For internal applicants, specific criteria apply:
• Must be in good standing.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra.
• Must also have a minimum of 1 year of service in their current role, unless approved by an EVP.
