World Internship Program

The World Internship Program is a 10-week program designed to cultivate a pool of talented professionals who can join the company after graduation. The program offers interns an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry and the distribution models for insurance products.

# Internship Details

Duration: 10 weeks
Location: On-site at World Insurance Associates headquarters in Iselin, New Jersey
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

# Internship Responsibilities

Interns will work alongside the World team to:

• Drive the timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
• Gain insights into how World helps clients achieve financial success and manage risk exposure.
• Build a foundation for a successful career in a stable and growing industry.
• Develop valuable skills and network with colleagues to facilitate a successful career launch.
• Contribute to positive client and team relationships through advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication.
• Refine skills in creating and presenting business proposals, understanding risk management, and developing time management strategies.

# Key Components of the Program

Besides daily tasks, interns will participate in various programs and events over the 10 weeks:

Intern Orientation at Iselin, New Jersey headquarters
Speaker Presentations and Town Halls: Learn from executive leadership, including the CEO and COO, about World’s business strategy, operating model, and key priorities.
monthly Webinars: Hosted by executive leadership.
Self-paced Online Program: Provided by the Council for Insurance Agents and Brokers.
Networking, Volunteer, and Social Events: Opportunities to connect with colleagues and engage in community activities.
Developmental Workshops: To further enhance professional skills.

Internship Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a business program at an accredited university or college
Expected graduation date: May 2026 or December 2025
Strong preference for students enrolled in Insurance and Risk Management programs
Willingness to work onsite in Iselin, New Jersey
Prior customer support experience preferred
Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills: Including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Self-motivation and drive
Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills: Including active listening and problem-solving
Multitasking, prioritizing, and using discretion with sensitive information
Professional demeanor and positive attitude
