Summer Digital Marketing Intern | Cadence Education

The Tone:
This is an internship at Cadence Education, located in Scottsdale, AZ. This 10-week role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of digital marketing, social media, and website analytics, directly contributing to an organization with over 30 years of expertise. • Tech Stack: Meta (Facebook/Instagram business platform), WordPress, Soci platform, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, MS Outlook (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Social Media Marketing: Learn to navigate Meta’s business platform, assist with general social media tasks like granting admin access and boosting posts, and conduct weekly inactivity checks on school pages.
• Build Content Libraries: Gather and organize photos from school social pages to create content libraries for future use and identify relevant posts for internal newsletters.
• Update Website Content: Work within WordPress to assist with content and imagery updates based on marketing team requests.
• Manage Local Listings: Help with local listing management, optimizations, and audits using the Soci platform, including updating imagery in listings.
• Apply Marketing Analytics: Learn basics of SEO and GEO by performing keyword research and refining content, and gain foundational analytics knowledge using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Google Search Console to inform optimizations for individual schools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: No specific degree required, but candidates must demonstrate a willingness to research, find resources independently, and learn new skills to accomplish tasks.
• Experience: Familiarity with major social media platforms, specifically Facebook and Instagram; proficiency in MS Outlook skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
