Job Description:
Reed Smith LLP is seeking exceptional 2L candidates for its 2026 Summer Associate Program in the Los Angeles office. The program aims to provide summer associates with a realistic experience of associate life, focusing on skill development and legal knowledge.
Key Aspects of the Program:
• Mentorship: Partner and associate mentors will provide support and guidance.
• Writing Instruction: Writing instructors will help hone analytical and persuasive writing skills.
• Learning & Development Summer Academy: Courses will supplement on-the-job training, covering topics such as:
• Essentials of Effective Legal Writing
• AI and Practical Law Training
• Effective Presentation Skills
• Social Activities: Opportunities to network with colleagues and summer associate classmates.
• Responsibilities: Summer associates will gain practical experience and develop skills necessary for a successful legal career.

Compensation:
• $4,327 per week
Eligibility:
