The Summer Associate program is designed to provide participants with substantial exposure to the firm and its practice, offering “real law experience” crucial for future professional careers. Summer Associates will engage with a broad spectrum of professional experiences, all within the dynamic field of Employment Law.

Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the intricate laws related to employment law.
  • Assist with comprehensive research, in-depth case analysis, and various phases of litigation, including drafting legal memoranda and court filings.
  • Monitor the status of new employment law developments and prepare concise summaries and informative articles on new legislation.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic performance demonstrating intellectual rigor and potential.
  • Excellent writing skills, essential for drafting precise and persuasive legal documents.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical for thorough research and analysis.
  • Demonstrated interest in Employment Law, indicating a passion for the field.
  • Must be enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school as a 2L for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Compensation:

For positions based in Colorado, the expected salary for this Summer Associate role is $70 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience and other legally permissible factors.
