Job Description:
Reed Smith LLP is seeking exceptional 2L candidates for its 2026 Summer Associate Program in the Los Angeles office. The program aims to provide a realistic view of associate life and develop necessary skills for a successful legal career.
Key Aspects of the Program:
• Mentorship: Partner and associate mentors provide support and guidance.
• Writing Development: Writing instructors help hone analytical and persuasive writing skills.
• Learning & Development Summer Academy: Courses supplement on-the-job training with topics like:
• Essentials of Effective Legal Writing
• AI and Practical Law Training
• Effective Presentation Skills
• Social Activities: Opportunities to connect with colleagues and summer associate classmates.
• Compensation: $4,327 per week.
• Visa Sponsorship: This position is not available to candidates who will now or in the future require U.S. visa sponsorship from the firm (H-1B, TN-1, TN-2, or E-3 visa).
