Job Description:
Reed Smith LLP is seeking exceptional 2L candidates to join the firm’s 2026 Summer Associate Program in their Chicago office. The program aims to provide summer associates with a realistic experience of associate life and develop the skills needed for a successful legal career.
Key aspects of the program:
• Mentorship: Partner and associate mentors will provide support and guidance.
• Writing Development: Writing instructors will help hone analytical and persuasive writing skills.
• Learning & Development Summer Academy: Courses will supplement on-the-job training, covering topics like Effective Legal Writing, AI and Practical Law Training, and Effective Presentation Skills.
• Social Activities: Opportunities to connect with future colleagues and summer associate classmates.
• Compensation: $4,327 per week.
