The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Projects: Support live projects by conducting research and analysis, preparing materials, and attending team meetings, giving you practical experience of investment banking.
• Receive Training: Begin with bespoke technical training, followed by rotations across two business areas, with supplemental training provided throughout the 10 weeks to gain an in-depth understanding of different financial products and markets.
• Build Networks: Build networks both internally and externally by gaining exposure to employees from all levels of the organisation, and be allocated a buddy to ensure support throughout the programme.
• Contribute to Outcomes: Work closely with experienced colleagues, have opportunities to ask questions, receive feedback, and contribute to the firm’s operations and client support with high levels of professionalism and expertise.
• Pipeline for Future: Gain hands-on work experience that serves as a direct pipeline into the full-time MUFG Analyst Programme, with successful interns potentially receiving an offer to join the full-time programme the following year.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Penultimate year student with a strong interest in financial markets, seeking an entry-level position.
• Experience: This is an entry-level program providing practical investment banking experience; no prior professional experience of this type is explicitly required.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high levels of motivation and integrity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to generate new and creative ideas.
