This role is crucial for supporting client engagements and gaining valuable hands-on experience in public accounting, working alongside experienced professionals.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Part-time (24 hours per week, Tuesday–Thursday for 6 weeks)
• Location: In-person Alexandria, VA
• Team: Reports to a supervisor, supported by a dedicated mentor and peer buddy.
• Mission: Provide hands-on support for client engagements across tax, audit, and advisory services to gain practical public accounting experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Support client engagements by applying learned concepts in a public accounting setting.
• Train: Participate in structured training sessions designed to build practical accounting skills.
• Contribute: Gain exposure and assist with tasks related to tax, audit, and advisory services.
• Develop: Engage in a mentored environment with regular check-ins to foster learning and professional growth.
• Operate: Work actively alongside experienced professionals to understand firm operations and client needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level student pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Experience: Ability to work Tuesday–Thursday for 24 hours per week during the 6-week internship (Mid June – Late July 2028).
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; a positive, professional, and collaborative attitude.
• Bonus: A 3.0 GPA is preferred.
