SUMMER 2026 INTERNSHIP
Blair, Church & Flynn is pleased to offer a comprehensive, paid Summer Internship program designed to span 10 consecutive weeks during the summer of 2026. This program provides an unparalleled opportunity for aspiring professionals to collaborate directly with our experienced team, fostering the development of essential technical competencies, contributing to impactful design projects, and acquiring invaluable industry insights.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Gather and analyze key data points to inform project decisions and designs.
- Utilize industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and other essential tools, to contribute to ongoing projects.
- Assemble foundational elements of construction documentation, gaining practical experience in preparing critical project paperwork.
- Prepare maps, plans, and detailed drawings, enhancing your technical drafting and visualization skills.
- Support office operations directly related to various construction activities, understanding project workflows from an administrative perspective.
- Demonstrate professional communication skills through interactions with colleagues and external partners.
- Foster productive working relationships within a collaborative team environment.
REQUIREMENTS
We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an AA/AS or Bachelor’s degree program in engineering, geomatics, construction management, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven ability in critical thinking and problem-solving, demonstrated through academic work or extracurricular activities.
- A strong record of activities reflecting excellent communication skills and effective teamwork.
- Availability for full-time work during any consecutive 10-week period between June and September 2026.
LOCATION
This position is an in-person role located at our OFFICE LOCATION. The intern will be required to travel locally for various meetings and essential site visits.
