NBCUniversal Internship Program

Summer 2025 Internship Program: Global Video Engineering

This internship program provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the Video Engineering QA team within NBCUniversal’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) portfolio. You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers, developers, product managers, and QA professionals on high-profile company initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to a diverse range of projects within the Video Engineering QA team.
• Utilize manual and automated testing techniques on various company initiatives.
• Collaborate with other teams, including engineering, development, product, and QA.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution throughout the entire internship period (June 2025 – August 2025).
• May 2025 graduates are ineligible.
• Current class standing must be sophomore or above (30 credits completed).
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States and not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal.
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
• Candidates on student or exchange visas are not eligible unless they can adjust to a work-authorized status without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
• Must have a valid Social Security number and be able to complete I-9 form within 3 days of hire.

Desired Characteristics:

• Junior or senior class standing preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance and testing techniques.
• Basic proficiency in programming languages (preferably Java, Javascript).
• Familiarity with Automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber).
• Basic knowledge of version control (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Knowledge of API Testing.

hourly Rate: $30.00

Program Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025

Time Commitment: 40 hours per week.
