Summer 2025 Internship at Blue Origin
Job Description:
Blue Origin is seeking undergraduate interns for their Summer 2025 Internship Program. This 12-week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to Blue Origin’s mission of advancing space exploration. Interns will apply their academic knowledge and project experience to support their assigned functional area within the company, performing professional-level work.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize academic and project experience to contribute to professional-level work in your assigned functional area.
• Gain practical experience and develop skills relevant to the internship field.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers, scientists, and other professionals.
• Contribute to projects that advance Blue Origin’s mission.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. Permanent Resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
• Completion of at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (sophomore standing).
• Availability to work full-time for a minimum of 12 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for space.
• Desired:
• Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience demonstrating development of both technical skills and leadership qualities.
• Hands-on project experience.
• Co-curricular engagement.
Compensation:
• The compensation for on-site applicants in Washington, Colorado, and California is between $19.54 and $28.67 hourly.
