Job Description:

Position: Student Intern (Enterprise and Network Oversight)
Department: Talent Strategy & HR Technology
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Type: Part-Time

This internship offers the opportunity to function as a regular staff member, assisting with specialized projects and administrative tasks within the Enterprise and Network Oversight team.

Duties:

• Assist with specialized project and administrative tasks to ensure coordination and completion.
• Compile and consolidate reports and prepare presentations based on findings.
• Assist with various administrative tasks to ensure coordination and completion of project segments.
• Complete project timelines, ensuring management review and approval.
• Conduct research and gather data for reports and presentations.
• Work closely with assigned staff and varying levels of management.
• Maintain cooperation and participation with key people involved in projects.
• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Assume personal and professional responsibilities for actions and activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with company employees and customers.
• Utilize a courteous and open-minded approach to policies and procedures.
• Relate and apply knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the company setting.
• Develop self-awareness in regard to attitudes, values, and behavior patterns that influence work.
• Prepare for and utilize conferences and other learning opportunities.

• Provide the faculty coordinator with periodic progress reports.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Possible Internship Duties:

• Assist in aggregating monthly performance oversight input from different L.A. Care functional areas to assess compliance and discuss risks, issues, and performance trends.
• Assist in scheduling and attending meetings, taking notes, updating project leads, and analyzing/summarizing metrics and program information.
• Provide administrative support to the Compliance Delegation Oversight Monitoring Department and its staff. This includes coordinating meetings, taking meeting minutes, data entry and tracking, and stakeholder outreach.
• Actively support and participate in Compliance Delegation Oversight Monitoring projects, including reviewing documents, research, data entry, and stakeholder outreach.

Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree and field placement program.
• Must have general experience writing, meeting project deadlines, and working with basic Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
