What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Support: Assist and participate in the day-to-day assigned work of professional employees across various departments.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct special research, studies, surveys, and investigations, and participate in compiling, tabulating, and analyzing data.
• Document Preparation: Assist and participate in the preparation of briefs, reports, evaluations, specifications, and plans for departmental projects.
• Meeting Participation: Attend divisional and departmental staff meetings, preparing reports of observations, suggestions, and comments.
• Project Assistance: Perform sub-professional assignments in support of professional staff as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation (within one year) from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited college or university in a program relevant to the specific internship, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. Proof of transcript with GPA required at application.
• Experience: Participation in duties and responsibilities assigned to professional employees to receive supervised work experience in a specific professional vocation.
• Skills: Ability to take direction and supervision, learn rapidly from on-the-job training, think logically, write clearly and concisely, compile data, perform arithmetical computations, analyze statistical data, prepare reports, and maintain cooperative relations with co-workers and the public.
