What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Participate in the day-to-day assigned work performed by professional employees in a specific department.
• Conduct: Aid in special research, studies, surveys, and investigations, including the compilation, tabulation, and analysis of information and data.
• Prepare: Help in the creation of briefs, reports, evaluations, specifications, and plans for departmental projects.
• Attend: Participate in divisional and departmental staff meetings, preparing reports of observations and offering suggestions and comments.
• Support: Perform sub-professional assignments that directly contribute to the work of the professional staff.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in, or recent graduation (within one year) from, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited college or university, with a major study area relevant to a specific professional vocation and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Experience: Ability to benefit and learn rapidly from on-the-job training, applying academic knowledge to practical duties in a professional setting.
• Skills: Capability to take direction and supervision, think logically, write clearly and concisely, compile data, perform arithmetical computations, analyze statistical data, prepare reports, learn to operate specialized equipment, maintain cooperative relations with co-workers and the public, and effectively use computer hardware and software.
