This role is crucial for maintaining efficient supply chains and ensuring product availability across international markets by supporting key supply management processes.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: 20 h/week, up to 37,5h/week during lecture free period possible
• Location: In-person Germany(Nordrhein-Westfalen)
• Team: International and experienced team with a high degree of personal responsibility and independence.
• Mission: To support the supply planning process for internationally-sourced products and ensure efficient stock levels.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supply Planning: Actively participate in the supply planning process for internationally-sourced products.
• Product Management: Manage product lifecycle events, including phasing products in/out, supplier changes, and supply plan calculations.
• Communication & Follow-up: Execute order placement follow-ups and maintain essential communication with Regional Distribution centers and international business partners.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate and present stock and order-related analyses and reports, such as stock snapshots.
• Stock Optimization: Ensure efficient stock levels and prevent stock discrepancies (shortages, slow-moving, obsolete items) by collaborating with customers and suppliers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled student in Bachelor-/Master-Studies in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or Economics related studies. Entry-Level.
• Experience: Demonstrated good skills in MS Excel.
• Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills, strong analytical and strategic competencies, and good English communication skills.
