Job Title: Structural Design Intern

Job Summary:
As a Structural Design Intern, you will shadow the Senior Structural Designer to learn the creation of packaging and display structures. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in designing point-of-purchase displays and packaging using computer software, while also being actively involved in prototyping and material selection. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the design and manufacturing process within a team of creative professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Shadowing and Assistance: You will shadow the Senior Structural Designer and assist in creating packaging designs and specifications.
• Design Development: Learn to develop and prepare production-ready designs and specifications, specifically for corrugated packaging.
• Prototyping: Assist in prototyping and creating sample designs for customer approval.
• Quality Control Support: Help prepare materials for testing and quality control.
• Material and Durability Learning: Learn the process of selecting materials and testing designs for durability.

Qualifications:
• Educational Background: A college student with a strong interest in structural design, engineering, or packaging.
• Technical Skills (Optional but a plus): Proficiency in computer programs like Adobe Illustrator or AutoCAD is beneficial but not mandatory.
