Strategy and Operations Intern | TimelyCare

The Tone:
This is an internship role at TimelyCare, located remotely across the country. TimelyCare is a clinically accountable virtual care provider built specifically for education, trusted by nearly 500 campuses across the U.S. They combine URAC-accredited clinical standards with a measurement-based approach to champion well-being and drive clinically validated improvements in depression and anxiety. This role is crucial for evaluating new growth opportunities, supporting operational improvements, and driving high-priority strategic initiatives across the company, influencing strategic decision-making within the Care department.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship / Early Career
• Type: Part-time, Temporary (20 hours per week, June – September 1, 2026)
• Location: Remote
• Pay: $25 hourly
• Team: Care Transformation Team, within the Care department
• Mission: Evaluate new growth opportunities, support operational improvements, and drive high-priority strategic initiatives across TimelyCare.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
• Analysis: Analyze internal and external data to identify insights, quantify opportunities, and validate strategic recommendations.
• Project Management: Structure and manage project plans for assigned initiatives, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines remain on track.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional leaders to gather inputs, test assumptions, and refine strategic recommendations.
• Communication: Build presentations and communicate findings to stakeholders, helping to inform recommendations for senior leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an MBA program, completed an MBA, or planning to begin an MBA in the near future; non-MBA candidates with relevant operator experience are welcome to apply.
• Experience: 3-5+ years experience in consulting, strategy, startups, technology, healthcare, finance, operations, or education is preferred but not strictly required.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to bring actionable, clear steps to ambiguous problems; combines confidence in independent problem-solving with humility to seek input; excellent written and oral communication skills.
