As part of Autodesk’s team, this internship role may have the opportunity to contribute to project(s) supporting Autodesk’s partnership as the Official Design and Make Platform of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA.
Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Strategy Intern to support high-impact, cross-functional initiatives focused on brand and industry engagement. These projects may directly support Autodesk’s significant partnership as the Official Design and Make Platform of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The intern will work collaboratively with Autodesk’s Product Development & Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) Strategy, Marketing, Brand, and Industry teams to develop executive-ready insights across key product development & manufacturing segments.
This internship is an ideal opportunity for graduate students who are pursuing careers in strategy, consulting, corporate development, brand management, or analytics, particularly within technology-driven and industrial contexts.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, measurement, and analysis of brand impact across priority Manufacturing segments, specifically including Consumer Products, Mobility, and Building Products & Fabrication.
- Help define and track segment-level Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for brand awareness, consideration, and preference, working in partnership with the Brand, Industry, and Analytics teams.
- Produce executive-ready scorecards and briefs that summarize brand reach, engagement metrics, customer sentiment, and potential partnership opportunities, broken down by industry segment.
- Identify, evaluate, and synthesize top-performing industry stories, compelling narratives, and cross-industry convergence themes.
- Assist in planning and executing engagements with manufacturing leaders, partners, and executives, ensuring alignment with segment-specific objectives.
- Support the process of linking industry engagements to downstream business outcomes, including pipeline development, partner activity tracking, and account engagement.
- Present a capstone deliverable that quantifies insights and informs Autodesk’s future partnership and brand investment strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program (MBA, MS, MEng, MPP, or a related field) with a strong focus on business strategy, analytics, operations, or a STEM-adjacent discipline.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
- Ability to distill complex qualitative and quantitative inputs into clear, actionable insights, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating executive-facing materials.
- Proficiency in presentation and analysis tools such as Excel, Airtable, PowerPoint (PPT), and Confluence.
- Proficiency in automation tools including Copilot, Chatbots, Generative AI (GenAI), No-Code Development Platforms (NCDPs), and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in brand management, marketing, or business operations.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a genuine interest in global partnerships and brand strategy.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial technology, or Business-to-Business (B2B) software environments.
- A background as an elite or professional athlete, or experience working with elite or Olympic-level athletes, is a significant plus.
About The US Internship Program
The 2026 U.S. internship program is scheduled to run for 12 weeks, with two possible cohorts: May 18 – August 7 or June 15 – September 4. All internships offered are paid positions. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Salary Transparency
Salary constitutes one component of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are determined based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can potentially exceed the stated ranges.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (for undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (for Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (for PhD students)
